Brief
NBF Islamic sits at a considered intersection: the rigour and ethics of Islamic finance, delivered through a bank built for the pace of modern life. The brief asked Karak to develop an advertising campaign across press, digital, social, and out-of-home that could carry that positioning with conviction, speaking clearly to an audience that expects their financial institution to hold firm to traditional values without feeling like it's stuck in the past.
Strategy
Islamic banking is a crowded and often visually undifferentiated space. Many brands in the category lean heavily on heritage signifiers, calligraphic motifs, and the language of obligation. The strategic opportunity was to reframe the conversation around aspiration rather than compliance: not simply banking that adheres to Islamic principles, but banking that reflects them as a genuine expression of values. Modern in its delivery, grounded in something that doesn't date.
Creative
The campaign was built to work across the full media mix, from the considered pace of press to the immediacy of outdoor and the scroll of social. The creative language balanced warmth with authority, finding a visual and tonal register that felt contemporary without abandoning the sense of trust and integrity that defines the NBF Islamic proposition.
Each channel was treated on its own terms, with the outdoor work carrying the campaign's headline presence and the digital and social executions adding depth and relevance for audiences encountering the brand in more personal moments.
Results
A campaign that gave NBF Islamic a confident, consistent presence across every platform it needed to occupy, modern in execution, and rooted in the values that make the proposition worth choosing.
