Brief

Abu Dhabi's healthcare system serves a population across hundreds of hospitals, clinics, and laboratories. Until Malaffi, a patient's medical history moved with them only as well as the paper it was written on. Malaffi was built to change that: a secure health information exchange platform connecting every medical facility in Abu Dhabi through a single digital network, giving authorised clinicians instant access to a complete, accurate picture of a patient's history. The brief covered the full scope of bringing Malaffi to the world: brand strategy, identity, experience design, social, digital, and a live launch event worthy of what the platform represented.

Strategy

The challenge with healthcare technology is the gap between what it does and what it means. The technical proposition, a centralised, AI-enabled, fully secure patient data platform, is genuinely significant. But the human proposition is simpler and more powerful: the right information, with the right doctor, at the right moment. Strategy centred on closing that gap, building a brand that could communicate Malaffi's complexity to medical professionals while making its value immediately legible to patients and the wider public.

Creative

The identity was built to carry the dual registers the brand needed: clinical precision and human warmth. A system designed to instil confidence in both a consultant reviewing a patient file and a family sitting in a waiting room.

The launch event brought the brand to life in the most literal sense. A live experience built around rotating 360-degree projection scrim animation and interactive performers revealed the Malaffi identity in real time, making the unveiling itself a demonstration of the platform's core idea: connectivity, clarity, and everything coming together in one place. Music, motion, and the new identity arrived simultaneously, giving Malaffi an entrance that matched the ambition of what it was built to do.

Results

A healthcare brand launched with the scale and ceremony it deserved, and a platform identity built to earn the trust of patients and professionals alike across Abu Dhabi's entire medical network.
