Scope of work

Brief

GRTIEC — Global Rail Transport Infrastructure, Exhibition & Conference — exists at the intersection of policy, capital, and engineering. It's where the people who shape how the world moves come together: visionaries, financiers, technical experts, and the policymakers with the power to act on what they hear. The brief was to build a brand identity, guidelines, and suite of downstream deliverables worthy of that ambition — one that could scale from a stadium-sized exhibition backdrop to a mobile app icon without losing an ounce of authority.

Strategy

Rail has an image problem. The word conjures timetables and ticket barriers, not cutting-edge infrastructure and billion-dollar investment. Our strategic task was to reframe the category entirely — positioning GRTIEC not as a trade show for an old industry, but as the definitive platform for the transportation systems of tomorrow. That meant rejecting the visual language of heritage and tradition in favour of something that felt genuinely forward — fast, precise, and built for the pace of modern mobility.

Creative

The resulting identity is built for momentum. Clean geometry, confident typography, and a palette that signals precision and progress rather than convention. Every element was engineered to flex — holding its integrity across large-format event environments and the compressed demands of digital interfaces alike. The brand doesn't whisper authority. It moves at speed and expects you to keep up.

Results

A brand that changed the conversation around rail — from legacy infrastructure to leading-edge transport technology. GRTIEC now shows up in the world with the visual confidence to match the calibre of the organisations and individuals it brings together.
