Egypes - Brand Uplift

Scope of work
Brief
EGYPES, the Egypt Energy Show, is one of the most significant energy gatherings in the region. Held under the patronage and participation of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, it brings together more than 47,000 stakeholders from across the energy value chain: investors, policymakers, engineers, and operators united by the challenge of navigating an industry in the middle of a fundamental transition. The brief for Karak was threefold: elevate the EGYPES brand, sharpen its social media presence, and replace a static post-show PDF with something the event's scale and stature actually deserved.
Strategy
An event operating at this level carries serious weight. The energy sector is moving fast, and EGYPES sits at the centre of that movement in the MENA region, setting the agenda on transition, security, and decarbonisation. The strategic opportunity was to bring the brand's visual and communications presence up to the standard of the conversations happening inside the event itself. That meant treating every output, from social content to post-show reporting, as an extension of the EGYPES brand rather than an afterthought to it.
Creative
Karak worked across three distinct workstreams. The brand elevation sharpened EGYPES's visual identity and gave it greater consistency and confidence across formats. The social media work brought more dynamism and editorial thinking to how the event showed up online, before, during, and after the show floor closed.
The most significant creative shift was the post-show report. For the first time, EGYPES moved away from the traditional static PDF and into an interactive digital format, one that matched the forward-thinking positioning of the event and gave the wealth of content and data a platform that could actually do it justice.
Results
EGYPES 2025 arrived with a brand presence that reflected the scale of what it represents. A sharper identity, a stronger social footprint, and a post-show report that set a new benchmark for how major industry events communicate their impact long after the last session ends.
